Interested in becoming an Election Inspector (Poll Worker)? 

Election Inspectors are essential to ensuring that elections are conducted efficiently, securely, and in compliance with state and federal laws.

Election Inspectors assist voters throughout the voting process, help maintain an orderly polling place, and support the overall integrity of our elections. This is an excellent opportunity to serve your community and participate directly in the democratic process.

Requirements:
  • - Must be a U.S. citizen
  • - Must be at least 18 years of age (or 16+ if eligible student inspector)
  • - Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • - Must attend required training
  • - Strong customer service and attention to detail

Election Inspector Application 

The Village of Pewaukee seeks a full-time Equipment Operator!

The Village of Pewaukee (pop. 8,215) is the home of a beautiful lake community.

Applications for a full-time Equipment Operator are currently being accepted.

Candidates must have the ability and experience to operate many different pieces of equipment, including, but not limited to, lawn mowers, back-hoes, wheel loaders, skid steer, street sweepers, dump trucks, jet-vac truck, bucket truck, and other power equipment used in snow removal, and improvements in landscaping, streets, and facilities. Concrete/asphalt experience is desired. Experience operating a dump truck with a plow and a wing is strongly preferred.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. with the ability to be available for 24-hour call-in for emergencies and winter operations. Weekend stand-by duty is required on a rotating basis.

Successful candidates shall possess a high school diploma/GED, and a valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License is required within six months of hire.

Starting pay range: $26-$30/hour

The Village offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance (ETF), dental, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, deferred compensation plans, and participates in the Wisconsin Retirement System state pension program.
